Week of May 14-18 and Week of May 21-25

May 14-18 We are still reading The Hound of the Baskervilles in class. Students are filling out study guides as we read to be turned in when we are finished. Vocabulary 23 homework and test will be Friday, May 18. There will be a pop quiz on previously learned mechanical skills at some point this week or next week or both. May 21-25 We will be watching Jane Eyre DVD and filling out study guides to be turned in when movie is finished. No more vocabulary. Possible pop quiz over mechanical skills. ALL EXTRA CREDIT DUE MAY 25. May 29-30 FINISH ANY UNFINISHED BUSINESS -- PLAY SCRABBLE -- APPLES TO APPLES HAPPY SUMMER! HAVE A GREAT HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE! MRS. PARRISH

HW for this week 5/7 to 5/11: Persuasive Essay due Fri., 5/11 Vocabulary 22 HW and test Fri., 5/11 In class we will be presenting charts/graphs on drug/alcohol use We will also be reading a Sherlock Holmes story and taking notes in Study Guide Form

There will be no homework this week other than the two paragraphs on the novel that have been assigned. They are due Friday (84 pts.)
